—————-
Hey Troop! Hope you are well and that your scouts are having a good fall semester so far! Wanted to reach out with a couple of things.
First, I knew Karen had reached out. I wanted to ask if you had a head count for the Pumpkin unload on Friday, September 30th at 4 pm. We are expecting about 800 pumpkins, so we could use all the help we can get!
Second, we are having a Pumpkin Patch volunteer meeting this Sunday-the 18th at 4 pm. It’s a chance for us to fill some sign-up slots, do some training, and share our vision for what the pumpkin patch will look like throughout the month. If you or any of the scouts who are signing up would like to come, we would love to have you!
Just as a reminder: The Patch will be open every day from October 1st to October 31st from 11 am-7 pm. Days are broken down into 2-hour slots (11-1, 1-3, 3-5, & 5-7). And we need at least 2 people working the patch at all times.Next, I wanted to share with you the events that we are hosting throughout the month. The scouts are welcome to come and hang out and help during these events as well:
October 9th Movie Night 7 pm
October 16th Fall festival 12-4 pm
October 30th Trunk or Treat 5-6 pm
Finally, I just want to say again that I am so grateful that you all are willing to partner with us to make this pumpkin patch great! Feel free to reach out with any comments or questions, and I look forward to spending time with you all in October! God bless!
NOTE:
Please reply or reach out to Julieann White if you are available to help on September 30th and if you have availability to help at any of these events.
