BSA TROOP 48 Checklist – December 13, 2022

Patrol outing

BSA TROOP 48 Checklist – December 13, 2022

13 Dec – Snow Ball Sock and mitten exchange Sock Snowball Toss:

( We will not be calling this a Fight;)

We love snow and everything you can do in it. Snow forts, snowmen, snow angels, sledding, snowball fights. All of it. But, let’s face it, sometimes we can’t wait on the snow!! It’s time for a good old fun snowball toss. With one twist, Our snowballs will be socks and mittens.

Here’s what you do:

EVERYONE Scrounge up 6 or so pairs of CLEAN NEW  (white) adult (or kid) socks. Roll them into balls by putting them together like you’re about to cuff the pair but then stuff the toes of both socks into the cuff of the outside sock. Keep pushing them until the socks are swallowed up and look like balls. Bring them to the scout meeting Tuesday night 12/13/22

We will Divvy the balls and set up your boundaries and let loose! Having a good old snowball toss (KEEPING IT SAFE) When done, unroll them, get them together and make a wonderful donation to a nearby community shelter, socks are one of the least donated items of clothing and most needed in winter.

Let’s hope that we get lots of socks and mittens the more we get the more fun we will have !!!

PLC @ 6:30 all patrols must have a patrol representative- All Patrol leaders and Troop job holders should attend
