As you know, one of our goals is “TO KEEP THE OUTING IN SCOUTING !
Each year we prepare a calendar for the next year. For 2023, let’s say we will have a proposed calendar ready for the Patrol Leaders Council to review and approve at the October 25th PLC. That gives us time to make revisions and have the calendar ready to distribute early in December. Mr. Browning has agreed to oversee this process and collect ballots.
The ballot will be made available in two ways, a hand-out at regular meetings and by download. Please plan for your “team” to review the ballot during patrol corners and return them to Mr. Browning between now and October 18th. “TEAMS” are our patrols, the Leadership Corps, and the registered adult leaders. Each person should vote for two “Super Activities” for Calendar Year 2024, and ten other outings for Calendar Year 2023. Returned ballots must have a name and no more than 10 regular outings and 2 Super Activities marked, or they will not be counted. Please place your completed ballots in the “Ballot” box at Mr. Browning’s station.
Remember, A Scout is Loyal, but is also Brave. Don’t be afraid to step out of the comfort of old reliable outings and accept the adventures and challenges of untested outings. There are lots of outings to surmount.
