PATROL MEETING CHECKLIST for Tuesday, November 17; 2020 

 Class A uniform NORMAL MEETING : COH planning to follow 

1. All patrols should resume using traditional paper attendance sheet.  Updated copies are in yellow patrol binder cabinet, then return to bottom slot.  Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed.  Counsel and sign off advancement. 

2.  Call patrol members not present.  *At this time this  is very important !

• Please stay out of all day care areas; The only bathroom to be used is the boys off Room 107. Please remember social distancing and wearing your mask is a great way to stay healthy BUT is also mandatory for our Troop to use the church facilities. Please monitor numbers in rooms.  We can have NO more than 25 in a room.  Take action to make sure that everyone is working to follow these requirements. Please remember if you travel out of the Tri cities or are not feeling well or have been around anyone that is not feeling well; please do not attend the meeting: please do not hesitate to reach out to Julieann White with questions regarding our COVID policy questions 

• Wolf  is Service Patrol for November. Ensure garage is straighten up with stomping cans as needed. 

• Panther has West Bank for November. Please ask Flaming Arrow for help.  Keep  check and Mow if needed the season weather has extended soon to be a the last time for the year.  

•  Please pick up branches and trash, rake leaves and clip or dig up weeds, bad vines, and little privet bushes. Leave the periwinkle vines. DON’T MOW OR OTHERWISE HURT THE ENGLISH IVY!!  Good Turn part of “West Bank:” Use rakes and spread mulch to fill in holes in Children’s Playground. 

• Mr. Miller and Mr. Hasler be at tables in the entrance area to handle payments for upcoming trips and advancement. Do to Eagle Ceremony They will not be available December 8 plan accordingly

COH planning: please remember COVID planning our numbers need to stay low so only one guest per family:

11-17 Wolf / Phoenix ==> Wolf (103) 700  – 745 PM // move into (101) for patrol meetings

Phoenix 800 – 845 PM Pre patrol meeting in (101) at 7:00 (guest arrive at 8:00 due to room size )

COH in room 103 // clean in between each COH

11-24 Fox only CoH no room swaps Phoenix to meet in room 101. Due to room size only Patrol adult leadership in attendance please.

12-1 Panther / Flaming Arrow  ==> Panther (103)700 – 745 PM // move to room 101 after COH

Flaming Arrow 800 – 845 PM pre meeting in room 101 at 7:00 guest to arrive at 8:00 due to room size.

6.  Flaming Arrow Patrol has West Bank for October.  Please pick up branches and trash, rake leaves and clip or dig up weeds, bad vines, and little privet bushes. Leave the  periwinkle vines. Mow grass as needed.DON’T MOW OR OTHERWISE HURT THE  ENGLISH IVY !!  That ivy is there thanks to Eagle Projects by Gary McGraw, Jr (1983) &  Dan Beverly (1986). Weed around shrubbery.  [ West Bank was cleared in 2013 by Tanner  Clark and his Eagle project team ].

7:00pm –  UNIFORM INSPECTION.  2020 Dues ($50, 6 months) and $100 deposit for summer camp to be paid tonight  and next week. Robotics Merit Badge (Mr. Darryl Davis). Plan April 7 Awards Banquet: preview skits, plan table decorations. Librarian Team meet. Scribe Team meet; update patrol notebooks. Plan/sign-up for Apr 4 -Knoxville Zoo trip. 

Mar 5

Merit Badge University (MBU) – Saturday, March 7th at King University.  $15 scouts, $10 adults including lunch and patch. Sign up until February 25th troop meeting.  Live class availability and current registrations can be reached from this upcoming event page on the new T48.org website.   Trip sheet is in the information racks, then see Mr. Hasler in troop office to sign up.       

Mr. Browning will be confirming transportation arrangements with parents.  Those wanting a meal ticket at the university cafeteria need to also sign up by February 25th.
