Hope Helps Volunteer Opportunity

3/29/2021
Hello,
I am reaching out to see if the scouts can help our organization to put together 100-150 food boxes for the elderly in Hawkins County.
They would come and we would set up for them to put together boxes out in the parking lot or on the porch so that it could be done outdoors, and it would be a mask required event. The boxes would be numbered (each recipient would receive 1 large box and one small box) which would be delivered later.
The age group or groups we would be looking for would be for children who can follow simple instructions such as “1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of chicken soup, 4 boxes of Jell-O.” We would like to take some pictures if possible, to share with our media pages.
We could do evenings or if more than one day is needed then it could be multiple evenings. Or even a weekend. The only days that we would have trouble with would be Tuesday and Thursday and the 1st Saturday of the month. We are under a time limit and it must be completed by the 24th of April. We are willing to work with your schedule on this. We just need to know the date or dates. I will be ordering the food this week for this and we should have it in by the 6th
.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Connie Johnson
