Congratulations and thank you to all that sold SCOUT CARDS Money will be Handled and put into your scout account in a timely manner, we need to wait on the confirmation from council please be patient.
Protocol has not changed : A reminder was sent out that addressed the importance of safety regarding Church protocol for covid, addressing our agreement with the church to stay within designated areas and to wear a mask even with new mandate we ask that you respect the numbers we have when we come together and continue to wear a mask Patrols are welcome to move meetings out doors .

• 2021 Annual Health and Medical Record update time. If you are going to summer camp or anything longer than 72 Hours this is a must. Download, print, complete Parts A+B, Part C is to be completed by your physician. Turn into Bonnie Depew.
Summer Camp: please make sure that your classes are set make sure that your uniform is ready attend the uniform exchange
make sure that you have paid your fees.
June 1 mark your calendar all Troop 48 first year summer camp attendees We will be having an official presentation of practical preparation for all new campers( patrol leadership please help your new scouts to be prepared for summer camp by encouraging attendance at this meeting and by answering questions along the way.

May 18 all adult leadership and parents who wish to be more involved or just have more information on leadership. We will have a adult leadership training for a scout led Troop – we will discuss what is working and what is not , how you can help and get involved all adults please save the date !
Uniform Exchange Update
The first uniform exchange, held May 4, was successful and several scouts and scouters obtained needed uniform items. The second scheduled exchange will be next Tuesday, May 11, and many items remain. Remember, we want all scouts to wear the full Class-B and/or Class-A uniform each day at summer camp, and always at all meetings. Even if you have a full uniform and don’t “need” additional items, come pick up extras. We need to thin out the cabinet to make room for new items.
Youth: boy’s and girl’s shorts, pants, Class-A and Class-B shirts, in a variety of sizes
Adults: men’s and women’s shorts, Class-A and Class-B shirts, and men’s pants in a variety of sizes
Hiking boots: good used boots, size 4 up to men’s size 12
Hats, rain coats, 1 Troop 48 neckerchief.
Possibly will have socks
2021 Troop 48 May Elections!
Troop please attend this week’s meeting for elections. Senior Patrol Leader as well as all patrol jobs are to be decided by votes on Tuesday May 4th.

May 4 we will be having a Patrol voting plan to review jobs and have scouts run for positions accordingly.
Please use the office provided paperwork .
We thank all our current leadership for a job well done and we wish the best to our incoming.
Josh White has decided to step down from SPL and will not be running please cast your vote for Senior patrol leader.

The Sequoyah Council Jamboree:
Jamboree is officially sold out! Don’t forget to sign up to help run the Troop 48 station. We will be running a climbing wall and teaching knot knowledge to Cubs standing in line. Adults and youth needed review trip planning make sure that all arrangements are made for drivers any special event plans are noted (example not meeting at CHPC)

• New scouts should have a scout hand book class B T-shirt Troop 48 Red numbers and shirt loops if you have not received these items please see Mr. Hasler. After you have reviewed all patrols please see a leadership corps member and let them know what patrol you are going to join and why. Me. Hasler will then provide new scouts with a patrol patch . When you have completed scout rank you will earn a Troop 48 neckerchief.
