January 26 Order of the arrow election and camp talk:

  1. Remember !  Take attendance.  Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed.  Counsel and sign   off advancement.  Open with the Oath and law  
  2. Call patrol members not present!  
  3. 2021 OA Elections we need YOU present to vote.

4.  Wolf :little pantry, Phoenix :PLC host, Panther: Service Patrol, Fox: West Bank  .

          •Little pantry: conduct a in patrol food drive to fill the little pantry with

            non-perishable Foods note  no glass bottles.

          •PLC host help with organizing the Materials Needed for PLC

          •Service : Stomp cans as needed. Straighten up Garage and Office

          •West Bank   Please pick up branches and trash, rake leaves

Good Turn part of “West Bank:” Use rakes and spread mulch to fill in holes in Children’s Playground. 

Klondike February 19,20,21 CDC!

Please let Mrs. White know a team number by listing scouts that get signed up.  We want actual yes or no from all patrol members. If you do not have 5 scouts that want to participate Troop patrol’s can combine.

Great OMBO for the scouts who took advantage of the opportunity.  Mr. Hasler is entering the requirement completions as he received from the merit badge counselors.  Scouts then need to take initiative to follow-up on open requirements.

  • Junior leadership training registration is open: JLT is MOVING due to leadership quarantine issues…to Saturday morning February 27th 2021.
  • OMBO follow-up opportunity and open MB progress check @ CHPCH on Saturday February 27th, 2021 from 1 PM – 4 PM.

Basic Life Support Training is being offered on January 30February 6, and February 13 for only $7. Any scouts attending a high adventurer trip or that is in need of CPR training should look into this amazing opportunity!

Trail Days. Help CDC , earn Service hours March 6 Phoenix is planning on attending great opportunity for all patrol’s to take part on this day or another week. February 6 13 27 March 6 13 or 27 all available we would like all Patrols to try to help . Work day is from 8:29-5pm

Use your time wisely planning for upcoming events. This is an opportunity for fellowship and will help the overall success of the patrol.

1. All patrols should resume using traditional paper attendance sheet. Updated copies are in yellow patrol binder cabinet, then return to bottom slot. Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed. Counsel and sign off advancement. Call patrol members not present. *At this time this is very important!

2 Use a Trip sheet for planning all patrol activities, clear all outings with Julieann White. Vein Take action for all updates: follow these requirements. Please remember if you travel out of the Tri cities or are not feeling well or have been around anyone that is not feeling well; please do not attend patrol activities : please do not hesitate to reach out to Julieann White with questions regarding our COVID policy questions

• Sequoyah Council has opened class registration for 2021 summer camp the class schedule which returns to the historical arrangement of three slots in the morning and three in the afternoon (plus Mile Swim). No evening classes are being offered. Scouts can sign up for classes before paying their deposit with Mr.Miller Sign up for Classes with Mr. Hasler.

•KLONDIKE February 19-21 CDC NOW IS THE TIME TO START TRAINING!!

Let’s plan to keep that plaque!

Use your meeting Time for advancements and working on merit badge. Leadership is available in each room to help with skill development if you need another adult leadership representative others can be located by the youth bar behind the office.

Mr. Hasler has provided each patrol with advancement needs working together helps make for a stronger more efficient Patrol and helps everyone to be successful. Klondike is coming are you ready!!

Holiday off site gatherings: with patrols will be happing . Leadership will be available at church to discuss zoom planning. Room 107 Youth room 

This will be the last meeting we will gather together for please take the time to ask quotations so we can set patrols up for success. 

Please note: COVID PLAN, December 22, 2020 if for any reason you do not feel comfort in a in person meeting, please note we understand.

2. When planning patrol activities planning needs to be approved by Julieann White

leveraging of activities by patrol will continue for the foreseeable future. Given that reality, we wish to continue to maintain a low risk profile by enhancing the communication about patrol outings. The number, frequency, and complexity of which are growing as the patrols are correctly forming into more cohesive units. This will be accomplished by further promoting the filling out of a Troop 48 Trip Sheet and sharing it with troop leadership (Julieann White) in a timely fashion. This will also improve the records management for advancement and scout of the year considerations.

We welcome Newly crossing over Scouts James Watts to Panther and Eli Garrett to Flaming Arrow Others will be visiting patrols to make a patrol choice.

Wolf :Youth room 107 Phoenix Room. Back side door . Phoenix Meeting in Coffee shop off gym 113b enter by side door near dumpster.

We can have NO more than 25 in a room.

• Lost Sea as special day trip – Bonnie D. coordinating Date(s) – 12/12/2020 8:30 am – 7:00 pm Signups begin Monday 11-9-2020. Day trip to be set for Lost Sea is 3-4 hours in cave with the regular and wild tour.

PATROL MEETING CHECKLIST for Tuesday, December 1; 2020

Class A uniform NORMAL MEETING :

Please note patrol door update it is MANDATORY that we do not cross mix patrols PLEASE STOP WALKING through other patrol meetings!!!!

1.All patrols should resume using traditional paper attendance sheet. Updated copies are in yellow patrol binder cabinet, then return to bottom slot. Add trips, churches, service hours, etc. for meetings missed. Counsel and sign off advancement. Call patrol members not present. *At this time this is very important !
2.Please stay out of all day care areas; The only bathroom to be used is the boys off Room 107. Please remember social distancing and wearing your mask is a great way to stay healthy BUT is also mandatory for our Troop to use the church facilities. Please monitor numbers in rooms. We can have NO more than 25 in a room.
3.Take action :follow these requirements. Please remember if you travel out of the Tri cities or are not feeling well or have been around anyone that is not feeling well; please do not attend the meeting: please do not hesitate to reach out to Julieann White with questions regarding our COVID policy questions
Service: Flaming Arrow Service Patrol for December . Ensure garage is straighten up with stomping cans as needed. Phoenix West Bank; Keep check and Mow if needed
• Please pick up branches and trash, rake leaves and clip or dig up weeds, bad vines, and little privet bushes. Leave the periwinkle vines. DON’T MOW OR OTHERWISE HURT THE ENGLISH IVY!! Good Turn part of “West Bank:” Use rakes and spread mulch to fill in holes in Children’s Playground.
-•Mr. Miller and Mr. Hasler be at tables in the entrance area to handle payments for upcoming trips and advancement. Do to Eagle Ceremony They will not be available December 8 plan accordingly
Please use side door that goes through locker rooms NOT through holly bushes. Panther and Fox use side front door, walking along wall. Not through meeting. (alternative plan for cold season)
• Patrol planning for December patrol Trips/outings ; please make sure you have your trip approved for to stay with in the guidelines of the Gide to safe scouting.
For December Holiday party.
• December 1 2020 COH planning: please remember COVID planning our numbers need to stay low so only one guest per family: 12-1 Panther / Flaming Arrow ==> Panther (103)700 – 745 PM // move to room 101 after COH Flaming Arrow 800
– 845 PM pre meeting in room 101 at 7:00 guest to arrive at 8:00 due to room size. split in room 103 // clean in between COH
• Lost Sea as special day trip – Bonnie D. coordinating Date(s) – 12/12/2020 8:30 am – 7:00 pm Signups begin Monday 11-9-2020. Day trip to be set for Lost Sea is 3-4 hours in cave with the regular and wild tour.
• Sequoyah Council has opened class registration for 2021 summer camp the class schedule which returns to the historical arrangement of three slots in the morning and three in the afternoon (plus Mile Swim). No evening classes are being offered. Scouts can sign up for classes before paying their deposit with Mr.Miller Sign up for Classes with Mr. Hasler.
Use your meeting Time for advancements and working on merit badge. Leadership is available in each room to help with skill development if you need another adult leadership representative others can be located by the youth bar behind the office.

Panther has West Bank for November. Please ask Flaming Arrow for help. Keep check and Mow if needed the season weather has extended soon to be a the last time for the year.
